Our Keynote Speaker, Steven "Steve" Chumley is a corporate chaplain who builds meaningful relationships in the workplace, seeking opportunities to share the life-changing good news of Jesus Christ in a respectful and non-threatening manner. He currently serves employees across 10 companies, including Coca-Cola.
Before entering corporate chaplaincy, Steve devoted 36 years to the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Virginia State Police trooper. He retired with the rank of major after serving as Deputy Director of Field Operations. He also served his country for four years in the United States Air Force and is ordained in pastoral ministry.
Born and raised in Cumberland Gap, Tennessee, Steve developed a lifelong commitment to serving others. He earned a master's degree in Homeland Security from the Naval Postgraduate School and a bachelor's degree in ministry from Bluefield College.
Steve and his wife, Kathleen, have three children and three grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoys fishing and spending time with his family.
