There are five ways for you to give at Shalom Baptist Church. Each method allows for God's work to be done as you are faithful to His calling to give back.

Make giving part of your Sunday morning worship experience by bringing a check or cash and placing it in the offering plate when it is passed.  General Offering envelopes are available in the pews for your convenience.  Please make checks payable to "Shalom Baptist Church." If you would like personalized offering envelopes, please contact the church office at 804-746-7737.

An automatic payment can be made by using your bank's electronic bill pay service.  From your checking or savings account, you can set up a one-time donation or re-occurring bill pay.  This means you never have to worry about remembering to write your tithe and offering check, even if you are out of town.  If prompted by your bank's bill pay account, please enter the following:

Shalom is pleased to offer a simple, secure, and convenient way to give your tithes and offerings from wherever you are: eGiving (electronic giving service).  We have partnered with EasyTithe eGiving as our online giving facilitator. You won't be providing your bank account or credit card details with anyone at Shalom.  Instead, you'll register directly on EasyTithe's secure site. 

This service will allow you to electronically send your tithes and offerings directly from your checking or savings account or credit card to Shalom's account without having to write a check or drop cash in the offering plate.  As with regular donations, you'll be able to designate separate funds (i.e. General Fund, Capital Campaign, Missions, etc.).  We offer you the ability to create a giving schedule and adjust the timing or the amount of your gift at anytime.  You may also make one time donations to special offerings.  You may cancel your account at any time.

To get started:

• Text the word GIVE to 804.207.7888, the church’s text number.
• If it’s your first time, you’ll be prompted to click a link directing you to the online giving page to complete a one-time registration. Click SIGN IN.
• Then click REGISTER FOR AN ACCOUNT at the bottom of the page. Complete contact information then Click REGISTER.
•  Enter the secure PIN that the system texts you.
•  Select the fund(s), enter the donation amount and payment information before completing your gift.
•  Click SAVE PAYMENT to keep your payment information securely saved for future gifts.
• To text a donation after the one-time registration, you can give immediately without having to re-enter any of your information.
• Simply text the desired amount and the fund keyword to the text giving number.
• Ex: 250 Budget for $250.00 to go to the General Fund
