Haiti Mission
We have partnered with New Hope Haiti Orphanage where we provide prayers, supplies and send a mission team once a year.

Bland Ministry
Shalom has supported this great ministry for years.
In Summer 2010, Shalom voted to make the partnership official.
Shalom makes regular trips to Bland County to support this ministry.

LOCAL:
Christian Village
Shalom is a local partner to Christian Village in Mechanicsville. Periodically, the church will spend a Saturday morning working on projects for some of the residents including yard work, light painting, housework, etc. Many of Shalom's Youth participate in this mission getting as much or more out of it as the actual residents.

Other Local Missions
CARITAS - We host homeless folks for a week during the year.
MCEF (Mechanicsville Churches Emergency Functions) - In cooperation with other
local churches, we support MCEF by supplying money, food, clothing, etc. to families/individuals in need.
Food Pantry Ministry - We assist Hanover Evangelical Friends Church to
provide food assistance to those in our community.
